✨ About The Role
- Responsible for building the AppSec program at Apollo, working with engineering to create a secure SDLC
- Selecting or building tooling to help developers build secure code and providing security architectural advice to Engineering and IT
- Managing issues from penetration tests and bug bounty programs, as well as the security champions program
- Assisting in incorporating security requirements into new products and creating Security Risk Models for new projects
- Playing a key role in reducing the risk of security issues in the tech stack and turning prospects into customers through secure practices
âš¡ Requirements
- Experienced application security engineer with a background in software development and a strong understanding of common AppSec issues and tooling
- Ability to influence others and provide security architectural advice to engineering and IT teams
- Skilled in managing security programs, vulnerability management, and pentesting
- Familiarity with cloud services, particularly GCP, and a strong Linux knowledge
- Proactive, collaborative, and able to take educated risks to achieve big wins
