✨ About The Role

- Work with the Guidance, Navigation, and Control team to design, build, and test satellite software and hardware - Internship typically lasts for twelve weeks and is designed for students currently enrolled at a four-year university - Opportunity to work on challenging projects and meaningful work regardless of seniority - Past interns have designed and tested hardware/software that has gone to space on the company's satellites - Many past interns have transitioned to full-time roles at Astranis

⚡ Requirements

- Ideal for a student pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in a technical discipline with a focus on control systems, orbital mechanics, or spacecraft design - Requires familiarity with control theory, estimation methods, and experience with python and/or C/C++ - Ability to design, build, and test software and/or hardware from scratch is essential - US Citizenship or Green Card is required due to U.S. Government space technology export regulations - Bonus points for familiarity with spacecraft design and experience with low thrust trajectories
