✨ About The Role

- Pre-sales and post-sales network architecture and planning, focusing on optimizing high throughput satellite networks by understanding and trading dozens of parameters - Involves tasks such as digital payload configuration, orbital slot selection, frequency planning, antenna system optimization, user coverage area definition, gateway location selection, user terminal selection, and networking/modem equipment selection and configuration - Provides a balance of technical and business/customer-facing responsibilities with high visibility and impact - Includes 1:1 mentorship from a senior sales engineer, enabling rapid learning and growth - Requires being onsite in San Francisco 3 days a week minimum and a willingness to travel occasionally

⚡ Requirements

- Strong ability to optimize systems by juggling many variables, considering all options, and running detailed trade studies - Process-oriented mindset with a constant drive to find more efficient ways of doing things and anticipating features needed from tools - Experience with scripting languages, preferably Python - Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with just the right amount of chaos - Ability to craft high-quality presentations, deliver them to potential partners, and answer challenging technical questions succinctly
