Software Engineer, Quality Assurance (QA) - Remote Eligible

Bot MD is a Y Combinator funded startup with the mission of Empowering Doctors around the world. We believe that providing doctors with quick and reliable access to clinical information and helping to automate clinical workflow are essential to improving the quality of patient care. This is a significant need especially in large and underserved emerging markets.

We are seeking a talented QA Software Engineer who is a “tester at heart” to join our growing team. As a member of our Engineering team, you will work with us to implement software (both manual & automated) testing into our product platforms to ensure that we deliver a delightful experience to our doctors around the world. This position requires a candidate with a passion for taking software testing to the next level across a variety of platforms including mobile and web. In this role, you will be writing effective and efficient code, identifying gaps and designing better code to improve the quality of our product and codebase. Responsibilities

• Ability to quickly identify key vulnerabilities and bugs, and tracking them to closure
• Help write manual test cases and flows for both our product platforms
• Identify and design test cases and user scenarios based on customer requirements
• Automate repeated tasks, execute and maintain test scripts
• Set up testing environments and test data essential for testing execution
• Ensuring product quality across mobile and web platform

Required Skills

• 5+ years of relevant experience in software and app testing/automation (ability to develop test scripts in JavaScript, Python VBScript, Jscript preferred)
• Technical knowledge in API & web testing
• Detail oriented and a passion for bug-free code and product experiences
• Tester at heart who is passionate about all forms of testing (white box, black box, functional, regression, non-functional)
• Experience developing automated testing solutions and passion for driving results
• B.S. in Computer Science or Information Systems preferred
