- The Service Detail Technician is responsible for cleaning both the interior and exterior surfaces of vehicles.
- Daily tasks include operating an automated car wash to remove surface dirt from vehicles.
- The technician will vacuum all interior surfaces, spot-clean textile stains, and clean solid surfaces.
- Cleaning exterior surfaces involves using various cleaners, mechanical buffers, and polishing compounds.
- The role includes maintaining an inventory of cleaners, compounds, and tools necessary for the job.
- Minor body repairs of scratches and blemishes using buffers and/or wet sanders are also part of the responsibilities.
- Attendance at periodic production meetings may be required as directed by managers.
