✨ About The Role
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend systems for an automated order-taking platform
- Collaborate closely with the team to integrate backend with ML models and client devices
- Monitor and optimize the performance of backend systems in production environments
- Build and maintain integrations with 3rd party restaurant software systems like POS, loyalty, payment gateways, and customer data platforms
- Implement best practices in system design, code quality, and testing to ensure a reliable, secure, and maintainable system

- Experienced software engineer with a background in Computer Science or a related field, ideally with 5-8 years of experience in developing and maintaining backend infrastructure in production environments
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to a rapidly evolving startup environment
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team to deliver scalable, high-performance backend systems
- Proactive mindset with the ability to recognize and solve problems efficiently
- Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure and deployment technologies, such as AWS, and experience with API design
