- The Design Engineer will collaborate with design and frontend engineering teams to transform static designs into polished product experiences.
- This role involves improving and elevating core design system components and promoting their consistent use across OpenSea’s products.
- The candidate will also design and develop interactive marketing collateral, such as landing pages, to enhance OpenSea’s brand presence.
- The position requires a blend of technical contribution and design expertise, straddling both areas effectively.
- The role is remote-first, allowing for flexibility in work location while encouraging in-person collaboration throughout the year.
⚡ Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in software engineering, particularly with a focus on frontend engineering.
- A strong fluency in React, Next.js, and Tailwind is essential for success in this role.
- Candidates should possess an extreme attention to detail and a good sense of design craft.
- Familiarity with web animations and interactions is important, as is a proactive and autonomous work ethic.
- A genuine curiosity and enthusiasm for blockchain technology, while not strictly required, will be beneficial.
