- The Senior Electrical Engineer will lead the development of sensor hardware design, incorporating various technologies such as embedded CPUs and RFID.
- This role involves hands-on analog and digital design, including circuit definition, component selection, and regulatory compliance.
- The engineer will manage Hardware Design Verification Testing (DVT) and collaborate closely with RF engineering on radio bring-up.
- The position requires the introduction of appropriate hardware development processes and guidance through regulatory testing at external labs.
- Collaboration with Operations to develop a manufacturing test plan is also a key responsibility.
⚡ Requirements
- A successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with a Master's preferred.
- Candidates should possess over 5 years of experience in relevant roles, demonstrating successful design and implementation of mixed-signal boards into high-volume production.
- Experience in both analog and digital circuit design is essential, along with familiarity with wireless networking.
- Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools is required, as well as knowledge of embedded processor design.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are crucial, with the ability to influence multiple functional groups.
