✨ About The Role
- Lead a team of engineers to build and operate novel products and features for Reddit's immense user base
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering teams to execute on product and business strategies
- Drive technical excellence and ensure high-quality standards in the development cycle
- Contribute to the planning, development, and implementation of Reddit's backend service architecture and client platforms
- Establish a culture of metrics-led execution, efficient processes, and transparency in decision-making
⚡ Requirements
- Experience in building and managing high-performing engineering teams, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Strong software engineering background with 5+ years of experience in developing user-facing applications
- Proficiency in working with product metrics and tools like GA, BigQuery
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
- Deep focus on user experience and usability, with a preference for those with experience in social or e-commerce platforms
- Entrepreneurial mindset, self-directed, innovative, and action-oriented
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively in a remote environment
