✨ About The Role
- Collaborate with a team of software and systems engineers to maintain Reddit's foundational platform for running infrastructure
- Develop reliable workflows to automate operational tasks essential for operating Reddit's critical Storage infrastructure
- Design, write, and deliver software to enhance the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of Reddit's products in Go and Python
- Contribute feedback to the technical and strategic direction of the Storage infrastructure
- Troubleshoot and analyze to understand scaling issues and changes in customer workloads
âš¡ Requirements
- Experienced software engineer with 4+ years of internet-scale software development, preferably in infrastructure roles
- Proficient in Golang, Python, Java, or C++
- Prior experience with Storage technologies like Redis, Memcache, Cassandra, Postgres, MySQL, or Zookeeper is a plus
- Skilled in operating large-scale critical infrastructure systems with a focus on automation and workflow development
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with a service-oriented team and company
