- The Performance Engineering Intern will support the development of a multidisciplinary performance and sizing framework for seaglider vehicles.
- This role involves working closely with engineering and business development teams to ensure the vehicle meets performance goals.
- Interns will engage in aerodynamic and hydrodynamic design and analysis to support vehicle design.
- Responsibilities include load case definition and development, as well as mass properties methodologies for conceptual and preliminary sizing.
- The position requires self-motivated individuals who are willing to embrace both familiar tasks and those requiring on-the-job training.

- Candidates should be pursuing a BS or MS in an Engineering discipline, ideally with a focus on aerospace or naval vehicle performance.
- Experience in the entire prototype development cycle, from concept design to testing, is essential for success in this role.
- A strong understanding of multidisciplinary tool development, particularly in Python, MATLAB, or Julia, is necessary.
- The ideal candidate will have knowledge of flight and/or nautical physics, with depth in areas such as aerodynamics or hydrodynamics.
- Strong technical, written, and verbal communication skills are crucial for effective collaboration with various engineering disciplines.
