✨ About The Role
- The Senior Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for supporting cross-functional engineering efforts across all systems of REGENT's seagliders, providing expertise in hardware definition, optimization, and analysis
- The role involves developing static and kinematic systems, presenting designs and analysis results to key stakeholders, and working on tasks ranging from actuation system design to propulsion test fixtures
- The engineer will collaborate with various engineering disciplines, support requirements management, verification, and validation efforts, and ensure the integration of subsystems into the vehicle as a whole

âš¡ Requirements
- Experienced mechanical engineer with 5-8 years in the aerospace or aviation field, ideally with a background in highly regulated, weight, and safety critical applications
- Proficient in CAD software, preferably NX, and experienced in analyzing and integrating complex kinematic systems involving electromechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic actuators
- Skilled in FEA and thermal analysis, as well as using MATLAB/Simulink, Python, or other programming tools for data analysis and simulation
- Strong foundation in statics, mechanics, materials, and thermodynamics, with experience in writing test plans, conducting tests, and maintaining design documentation
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a focus on safety and quality
