✨ About The Role
- The Senior Construction Engineer will connect various internal technical teams to define architectural, structural, heavy civil, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, and industrial requirements.
- This role involves managing the development, design, and construction of new infrastructure projects.
- Responsibilities include the development of construction drawings, request for proposals, competitive bidding, bid evaluations, and sub-contractor management.
- The engineer will plan and execute work to install and operate best-in-class test site solutions while meeting stringent cost and schedule requirements.
- Collaboration with test and launch team members, including infrastructure, fluids, electrical, command & control, and mechanical teams, is a key aspect of the role.
- The engineer will act as the owner's representative to outside consultants and contractors.
- The position requires a strong understanding of standard construction procedures, best practices, and means & methods.
⚡ Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, structural engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the aerospace or construction industry is required, with a blend of hands-on field experience and project management.
- Strong background in field engineering, construction engineering, and project management is essential for success in this role.
- The candidate should possess a passion for transforming ideas and designs into reality within the built environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are crucial.
