✨ About The Role
- The role involves bringing critical flight structures and supporting components from design concept to physical hardware ready for launch.
- Responsibilities include the full design cycle, encompassing conceptualization, design, analysis, manufacturing, and testing of various structures.
- The candidate will work on projects related to Thrust Structure, Propellant Tanks, Interstage, or Fairing.
- The position requires collaboration with multiple teams, including additive, design, test, and loads & dynamics teams.
- Weekly tasks will include designing components using NX/TeamCenter and performing analysis with Nastran and ANSYS.
- The candidate will be responsible for developing and supporting hardware test campaigns, including test integration and result evaluation.
- Documentation of work and recommendations for decision-making will be a key part of the role.
⚡ Requirements
- The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in a full cycle design engineering role.
- A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical discipline is required for this position.
- Candidates should possess a working knowledge of structural analysis and testing, including both hand calculations and advanced analysis techniques.
- A fundamental understanding of structural strength, stability, and fatigue failure mechanisms is essential.
- Familiarity with additive and traditional manufacturing processes will be beneficial for success in this role.
