As an early hire you will be at the forefront for growth and merchant success at Slope. You will own the technical aspect of sales and merchant onboarding while working closely with customers, sales, product and engineering. You will join sales meetings in a technical advisory role, lead product demos, be heavily involved with RFP’s and the close process. After close, you will be in charge of leading the technical integration of merchant onboarding. This role is directly at the heart of unlocking new revenue.

Be the tip of the spear of our technical team, working directly with our merchants to get them up and running on Slope!
Be a core part of the GTM team and be technical partner on deals, RFP’s, and demos.
Work with eng, customer success, data, and finance to communicate discovery of potential product features from merchant partners and deliver on them
Contribute to codebase – working with core engineering to bring product improvements back from the field and improve Slope's core offering.
5+ years of experience in engineering, etc. Our ideal candidate is a senior engineer that is interested in sales and making a direct business impact.
Experience architecting, developing, and testing fullstack code end-to-end
Experience with React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Node.js
Experience working with relational databases, especially Postgres
Experience with AWS services
Experience with SQL
Possess a mix of technical skills, an entrepreneurial mindset, and product intuition and can bridge communication between internal and external teams
Excellent written and verbal communication skills – this is an extremely customer facing role working with Fortune 500 companies and their respective leadership teams.
