✨ About The Role
- The Fluids Engineer will be responsible for defining, designing, manufacturing, and testing various fluid systems across the rocket.
- This role involves leading architecture trades for major fluid systems and transforming decisions into real-life hardware implementations.
- The engineer will develop fluid system concepts for ground, flight, and recovery phases of the vehicle's life.
- Responsibilities include performing gas and liquid fluid system sizing analysis and ensuring structural capability of tubing and manifold systems.
- The position requires coordination with suppliers for part procurement and executing the manufacturing and integration of fluid systems.
⚡ Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in designing, building, and testing rocket fluid systems, engines, and valves.
- A strong command of engineering fundamentals such as compressible flow, thermodynamics, and cryogenics is essential for success in this role.
- Proficiency in CAD tools and configuration management is necessary, with a preference for experience in Siemens NX and Teamcenter.
- The candidate should possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Hands-on experience in fabrication and assembly of components will be beneficial for this position.
