- The Senior Fluids Engineer will be responsible for defining, designing, manufacturing, and testing various fluid systems across the rocket.
- This role involves leading architecture trades for major fluid systems and transforming decisions into real-life hardware implementations.
- The engineer will develop fluid system concepts for ground, flight, and recovery phases of the vehicle's life.
- Responsibilities include performing gas and liquid fluid system sizing analysis and ensuring structural integrity of tubing and mounting systems.
- The position requires coordination with suppliers for part procurement and overseeing the manufacturing and integration of fluid systems.
⚡ Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have over 4 years of experience in designing, building, and testing rocket fluid systems, engines, and valves.
- A proven track record of leading technical projects is essential, with at least 1 year of experience in a leadership role.
- Strong foundational knowledge in compressible flow, thermodynamics, structures, control systems, cryogenics, and instrumentation is required.
- Proficiency in CAD tools and configuration management, particularly with Siemens NX and Teamcenter, is necessary for success in this role.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are crucial for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and suppliers.
