- The Firmware Engineer Intern/Co-op will work on implementing, testing, and validating on-board firmware for Teleo's Supervised Autonomy
- Responsibilities include bringing up PCBAs, microcontrollers, and developing algorithms on real-time operating systems
- The role involves interfacing with software and hardware engineers daily to deploy firmware on proprietary Teleo ECUs
- The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in embedded firmware development for safety-critical applications and a passion for robotics

- Ideal for a student pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with a passion for robotics and autonomous vehicles
- Experience in developing high-quality firmware on microcontrollers and a strong interest in safety-critical applications
- Ability to work collaboratively with software and hardware engineers to launch new heavy equipment supported by Teleo
- Interest in embedded firmware development and a history of contributing to projects using C/C++, Rust, or Python
- Enthusiasm for working with embedded microcontrollers, protocols/interfaces like I2C, CAN, PWM, SPI, and Linux command-line scripting
