- The engineer will work on core customer-facing features of the VergeSense Occupancy Intelligence Platform, enhancing visualizations and analytics presented to customers.
- The role includes managing the transferring, aggregation, and storage of data related to application features, ensuring efficient data handling.
- The engineer will also develop APIs and webhooks that customers use to programmatically interface with VergeSense data, enhancing user experience.
⚡ Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have over 6 years of industry experience, demonstrating a strong technical background in software engineering.
- A deep understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and API design patterns, particularly in implementing RESTful services, is essential for success in this role.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/React and Ruby/Ruby on Rails is required, along with experience working with relational databases like PostgreSQL.
- Strong communication skills are necessary to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
- A passion for writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code is crucial for contributing to the team's success.
- The candidate should have a bachelor's and/or master's degree in computer science or equivalent experience, showcasing a solid educational foundation.
