✨ About The Role
- Design and build beautiful software on custom hardware for the Restaurants team at Square
- Lead industry-advancing technology initiatives to bring meaningful value to restaurant owners internationally
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams throughout the full lifecycle of product development
- Mentor and learn from other engineers while participating in the development, release, and maintenance of Android apps
- Bring a strong motivation to innovate and contribute to Square's omnichannel solutions for sellers of all sizes

- Experienced Android engineer with a track record of developing and maintaining robust, scalable client software
- Ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives and collaborate effectively with product managers, designers, and other engineers
- Strong mentorship skills to help teams level up and a passion for sharing knowledge with colleagues
- Empathetic towards customers and colleagues, with a focus on building intuitive products for the food and drink hospitality industry
- Proficient in Kotlin and/or Java with at least 5 years of experience in software development
