✨ About The Role
- The role is part of Cash App's Risk ML team and will be embedded within either the Identity or Cash Card + Disputes workstreams
- The Identity team focuses on reducing inauthentic identities in Cash's ecosystem and improving identity verification processes
- The Cash Card + Disputes team works on analytical and ML solutions for the Cash Card product lifecycle with a focus on mitigating risk and fraud
- The role involves collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Platform, Legal, and others to balance financial loss, regulatory risk, and customer experience
- The successful candidate will work on developing and refining machine learning solutions to improve the safety and inclusivity of the financial system
âš¡ Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field with a Master's degree preferred
- 6+ years of experience in machine learning, data analysis, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms and data analysis techniques
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
